Prague, Czech Republic — On 13 September, the official Real Madrid supporters’ club El León Blanco was formally presented to its first members and guests in the Czech Republic.

Following the unveiling of the supporters’ club’s name and emblem, attendees enjoyed a special live performance of Real Madrid’s three iconic anthems — the Classic Anthem, the Centenary Anthem and “La Décima”.

Real Madrid Praga Ensemble performed the three pieces; the ensemble comprises internationally acclaimed musicians. The performance featured Aleš Briscein, a distinguished tenor, a regular guest of both the National Theatre and the State Opera, and a two-time recipient of the prestigious Thalia Award.

The inauguration event was also attended by the Consul of Spain in the Czech Republic, Mr. Guillermo Rebollo Díez.

Real Madrid Club de Fútbol officially recognized the supporters’ club in July, after an extensive approval process, and it already has an initial community of around 90 members. Most of its members are from Spain and the Czech Republic, although the club also brings together Madridistas of other nationalities, including supporters from Slovakia, Germany, Syria and Venezuela.

El León Blanco is chaired by Ignacio Blanco (Real Madrid member since 1994), with the current Board of Directors comprising Javier Fernández (Vice President), Joaquín Reyes (Secretary and Treasurer), Eduardo García (Director of Institutional Relations), Pablo Palacios (Accountant), and José Miguel de la Guía (Board Member).

The supporters’ club’s main projects include organizing trips to attend Real Madrid matches in Central Europe, promoting local cultural activities, and bringing members together regularly to watch Real Madrid matches.

The club also aims to serve as a meeting point for Madridistas in the Czech Republic, strengthening the local community and creating opportunities to share their passion for Real Madrid beyond matchdays.
